Our Early Learning Journey

At Dummy School, the journey from Nursery to Grade 5 is a period of immense growth, discovery, and foundational learning. We are committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and joyful environment where young minds can flourish. Our curriculum for these crucial years is designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and build strong academic and social-emotional skills.

We believe in a child-centric approach, recognizing that each student is unique and learns at their own pace. Through engaging activities, interactive lessons, and a supportive community, we prepare our students not just for the next academic level, but for a lifelong love of learning and exploration.

Nursery Classroom Activity

Nursery & Kindergarten: Learning Through Play

Our Nursery and Kindergarten programs are vibrant spaces where learning comes alive through play. We focus on developing essential motor skills, early literacy, numeracy concepts, and crucial social skills like sharing, cooperation, and empathy. Activities include storytelling, art and craft, music and movement, and outdoor play.

Experienced educators create a warm and secure environment, encouraging children to explore, question, and discover at their own pace. This foundational stage is designed to build confidence and a positive attitude towards school.

Grade 1-2 Classroom

Grades 1-2: Solidifying Core Skills

In Grades 1 and 2, we transition to more structured learning while retaining an element of discovery and hands-on engagement. The curriculum emphasizes solidifying foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Students delve into environmental studies and basic science concepts through interactive projects.

We nurture independent learning habits and problem-solving abilities. Co-curricular activities like creative writing, basic coding, and introductory sports are integrated to ensure a balanced development and to keep learning exciting.

As students progress to Grades 3, 4, and 5, the curriculum expands to include more complex concepts across all subjects. We encourage deeper inquiry, critical thinking, and collaborative learning through group projects, presentations, and field trips.

Students are introduced to more specialized subjects and are encouraged to develop their research skills. Leadership opportunities, participation in inter-house competitions, and advanced clubs help foster confidence, responsibility, and a sense of community.
